The new year kind of snuck up on me. I have no idea where 2011 went and am in no way ready for 2012.
This year is going to be a year of changes. C is starting middle school, J is starting Kindergarten which has me stressed out beyond belief. NYC has such a strange way of handling Kindergarten now. I have to apply to a school I know J won't go to because he is non-verbal but have no guidance on how to get him into Special Ed where he needs to be. According to NYC everything will be done in the community school. I don't think so.
I am going to start calling all the District 75 schools I know of this week. (Oh and hopefully he will get into one not to far away).
G and I are celebrating our 15th anniversary this year. January brings the start of major rehearsals for Dance Competitions. Our first one is in 8 weeks in Atlantic City. It is for all the girls for Solos. This Wednesday, C and her team a learning a second dance which is a Ballet number. I think we are up to 3 or 4 group numbers and a solo. Guess I need to start filling out the calendar with all the activities we have going on.
So every year I try to choose a word that is going to be my focus of the year and right now I am really caught between two. They are Positivity (I tend to stress and be negative when stressing) the other word is Relax. that brings me to the possiblity of a 3rd word of Breathe.
